If the hat fits - first block

It sure has taken me a while to get the tension right on this. I am using bottom line thread by Superior. 

Not sure I like the dress, it blends into the background to much. HMMM, I'll have to do something about that.

Red Work

Here are a couple of items that used up some of my scraps, and boy do I have a lot of scraps.

I used my embroidery machine to do the red work, trying out some new garden designs.

Blue Work

Everyone loves redwork, I do to.  But I wanted something a bit different, so I made a quilt in Blue. The designs were made with my embroidery machine and it was quilted by Calico and Canvas.
